Alex Habegger is an assistant professor in the school of physical therapy. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016 from the University of Saint Mary and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Exercise Science. He has practiced as a physical therapist in Nebraska treating a variety of patients with a focus in orthopedics in the acute care, home health, and outpatient settings.

Foundational Curriculum

Tuition $15,600

The most affordable initial option, students completing the Foundational DMSc will earn experience in scholarly research and writing, PA advocacy, organizational development, and leadership. The Foundational curriculum can be completed in as quickly as 24 academic weeks!

If you’re on the fence about specializing on a particular topic right now, the Foundational DMSc pathway is perfect for you.

As an Foundational DMSc alumnus, students are welcome to add additional Specialty Certificates after graduation to deepen their base of knowledge and experience.

Specialty Curriculum

Tuition $20,280*

Degrees in the Specialty curriculum represent a “deeper dive” into subject matter for the students. This additional coursework focuses on practical topics specific to a student’s needs and career goals.

If you are ready to go all-in on your specialty of choice, this curriculum is right for you!

Specialty focuses include executive leadership, medical education, emergency management, artificial intelligence in healthcare, behavioral medicine, and global health, with more specialties on the way.

*for Global Health and Emergency Management specialty students, there will be additional fees for travel and on-site expenses related to a mandatory in-person deployment, roughly $4,000.
