Richard Bushey is the Director of Instructional Design at Arkansas Colleges of Health Education, where he leads initiatives to enhance teaching, learning, and curriculum innovation across programs. He specializes in integrating technology and pedagogy to create engaging, accessible, and outcome-driven learning experiences. Richard believes that instructional design should not only convey information but cultivate curiosity and mastery through intentional, learner-centered design. His work includes developing faculty workshops, designing interactive online modules, and implementing scalable learning solutions using platforms such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, and Moodle.
Before joining Arkansas Colleges of Health Education, Richard served as Senior Instructional Designer at the University of Lynchburg and as an Educational Technologist at Liberty University. He holds a Master of Arts in Theological Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Religion from Liberty University.
